  • Proposed title: Data is the key to unlock AI

Sharing Summary

  • Generative AI is not a new system, but it’s a new type of user experience with new challenges.

  • When it comes to working in GenAI products or projects, the key responsibilities of Data Science are still (a) Data Cleansing, (b) Model Evaluation, and (c) Product Impact Measurement.

  • The analytics skills of Data Science remain unchanged: (1) Machine Learning (with the addition of LLM & Multimodality) + (2) Experimentation (with the addition of Causal Inference) + (3) Product Sense.

  • Instead of jumping into the solutions, spend more time identifying the core problem or opportunity. The more unclear the problem may be, the more crucial your role becomes.

  • Proposed title:

    • The Future of Hiring: How AI & Networking Are Changing the Game for Job Seekers

Sharing Summary

  • Businesses lose billions of dollars annually due to inefficiency in hiring processes, employee turnover, and mis-hires.

  • Recruiters are overwhelmed by the high volume of applicants and spend a disproportionate amount of time on repetitive tasks. In reality, recruiters spend only 5 to 8 seconds reading a resume. Only less than 30% of the candidates get seen by the recruiting team when there are more than 100 applicants. And most decisions are made within the first 5-15 minutes of the interview.

  • Job seekers can gain a competitive edge through mock interviews, increasing their confidence and reducing anxiety. However, scheduling conflicts, lack of guidance, limited practice scope, and imposter syndrome often deter job seekers from using them effectively.

  • MirWork offers solutions for both job seekers and enterprises. For job seekers, MirWork provides Quick Mock Interview, which turns any job on LinkedIn into a mock interview instantly. For enterprises, it offers an AI solution to conduct first-round interviews, along with automatic transcripts, summaries, and interview scores.
