Melody is a project manager within the Portfolio and Program Management function at AbbVie, where she specializes in early-stage oncology drug development. With more than five years of expertise in drug asset management, she is skilled in timeline and scenario planning, risk management, portfolio prioritization, and commercialization strategy assessment. Melody also actively contributes to advancing organizational operational excellence and leads key portfolio initiatives and communication efforts to enhance team effectiveness. Prior to her current role, Melody spent more than a decade as a research scientist in Discovery and Pre-clinical research across academic and biotech start-up. She serves on the leadership team of AbbVie’s Bay Area chapter of Women Leaders in Action, committed to fostering a professional and inclusive community that empowers women, and is involved in women’s leadership initiatives throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Outside of work, Melody enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and sharing movies and great food with her family.
